Weirdstock Blooms at the Chelsea Flower Show
Still buzzing from the most incredible press day! Did you know Weirdstock bedding is chilling amongst the award-winning blooms at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show?
Yep, you heard that right! My designs are nestled snuggly inside James Whiting's incredible 'Verdant Visions' exhibit, and let me tell you, it's a sight to behold.
Let's just rewind a bit. When James first reached out and asked if Weirdstock could be part of his Chelsea Flower Show display, I think I might have squealed a bit. James is a serious talent, and 'Verdant Visions' is a gold medal-winning masterpiece that takes you straight back to those lush, 70s bedrooms filled with greenery.
Think record players, dressing tables, and enough houseplants to make your granny proud – the perfect setting for a splash of Weirdstock magic!
James and I have worked together on several projects since we first met last October and have become firm friends.
The dreamy disco bed features our Groove Inn and Sunset Suite bedding from the debut collection Motel California and two of our popular Young Hearts Ruffle cushions.
Featuring shaggy texture, waves and checks, Motel California is inspired by retro motel interiors of 1970s USA and a bit of California coastal cool.
But there might be a print that you don't yet recognise...
The flower power draping on the bed and frilly pillowcase feature a brand new yet-to-be-released design from our next collection 'Nan's House', which I hope to release in Autumn. Nan's House will be OTT, kitsch and frilly cottagecore with traditional 70s colourways and pops of acid brights. I can't wait to show you more!
The Chelsea Flower Show is open until Saturday, so if you're looking for a vibrant escape and a chance to see Weirdstock nestled amongst some truly stunning botanical creations, get yourself down to The Plants By There Houseplant Studio - the gold-medal winning 'Verdant Visions'.
You won't regret it!
